ERA Advances in Virginia

The Virginia legislature is now considering ERA ratification. On its opening day, the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections voted to ratify, sending the measure to the full Senate, where ERA advocates expect it to pass. It then goes to a House committee for a hearing.
